Undercarriage collapse

A Beech Baron light aircraft ended up on the grass near the main runway of Malta International Airport yesterday after developing undercarriage problems on landing.

The incident happened at about 6 p.m. when its left undercarriage collapsed. No one was injured but the runway was closed for a short time.
