The Malta Football Association has launched an investigation after claims of match fixing involving the Malta-Norway match  played on June  2, 2007 in Oslo.

The association said it had received information in relation to the trial currently being held in Bochum, Germany, regarding match fixing allegations issued against Ante Sapina, Marija Cvrtak M Dragan where mention was made of the qualification match between Norway and Malta.

The MFA said it had launched the necessary investigative procedures.
