Atlas JMFS launch Euro Income Bonds Portfolio 2020

Atlas JMFS Investment Services Limited (Atlas JMFS) has launched a discretionary portfolio service which will consist of investments in euro denominated bonds issued by foreign issuers.

The Euro Income Bonds Portfolio-2020 is a composite of investment grade bonds issued by foreign issuers. The Bond Portfolio which matures in 2020 will earn investors a total indicative return of 5.3 per cent per annum. Atlas JMFS selects bonds on a wholly independent and impartial basis, by researching and monitoring a range of available bonds in euro, the company said.

“The discretionary portfolio service will invest in investment grade bonds thus giving the investor exposure to a spread of good quality bonds. The indicative return per annum, is net of charges and before taxes, and is based on the current yield to maturity of the bonds forming part of the portfolio and is subject to market movement until the pricing date when it will be fixed and advised to investors,” Atlas JMFS said.

Potential investors may participate with a lump sum investment of at least €2,500. The Euro Income Bonds Portfolio-2020, which is already available, has a limited offer period of up to May 20.

“Investors should note that the underlying investments are subject to market fluctuations and the risks inherent in all investments. Past performance is not necessarily a guide to the future. The value and the yield of investments can go down as well as up and the investor may not realise the value of one’s initial capital. Redemptions on maturity of the capital invested in the underlying bonds depend on there being no default by the bond issuers.

Early redemptions may not be honoured and could result in a loss on the amount invested,” the company said.
