The Malta Standards Authority has banned Griptight baby soothers as they are faulty and pose a serious risk to babies.
The authority urged parents to refrain from using these soothers, which are distributed free with Milupa Cereal products, as the teat can be torn off, creating a serious risk of suffocation.
MSA advised shops to withdraw these soothers from their shelves immediately because otherwise they would be liable to enforcement action.
