Celtic kept the pressure on Scottish Premier League title rivals Rangers with a 2-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park yesterday that reduces the gap at the top of the table to one point.

The Hoops had efforts from Gary Hooper and Kris Commons ruled out for offside before Scott Brown dived to nod Celtic ahead in first-half stoppage time.

Celtic dominated possession in the second half but it took a thunderous strike from Commons to settle their nerves in the 68th minute.

With two games remaining the Hoops face Hearts away on Wednesday while Rangers host Dundee United tomorrow as the title race looks to be heading to a final-day decider.
