Jim Norton, president of the Chartered Institute for IT (BCS), was in Malta last month to discuss ways to support the BCS Malta Section to introduce practices to the local IT community through the implementation of initiatives that BCS is involved with in the UK. Prof. Norton and officials from the Malta Section met representatives of the Malta Information Technology Agency.
With more than 70,000 members worldwide, BCS is the most influential IT body to enable the information society, by promoting change and social and economic progress through information technology, science and its practice.
The BCS Malta Section was formed in 1997 and is one of the oldest international branches.
