Misco is accepting registration for its third intake of the ILM course, Award in Management.
The course is planned and tailored for those who would like to improve their middle-management skills and knowledge,
Misco is an accredited centre of the Institute of Leadership and Management, the UK’s larg-est management body, combining industry-leading qualifications and specialist member services worldwide.
Award in Management is a concise qualification aimed to develop basic middle management skills and knowledge. The programme compromises one mandatory unit as well as a selection of optional units to choose from.
The mandatory unit, ‘Understanding the management role’, examines organisational structure and function, the roles and responsibilities of middle managers and the effect of communication and interpersonal skills on managerial performance.
ILM is founded on the principle that skilled managers and leaders hold the key to creating productive workforces that deliver organisational and economic success.
ILM qualifications and membership services combine to drive up the standards of leadership and management and improve individual and team performance.
Award in Management is a vocational related qualification accredited and listed on the European Framework for Lifelong Learning. It is also recognised by the Malta Qualifications Council and mapped at Level 5.
It may be completed through a combination of tutor-led sessions and distance learning.
Alternatively, candidates can opt for a full-distance learning approach. Participants and organisations are able to choose from a range of optional units to build their qualification.
This flexibility allows individuals or employers to custom-build a qualification that focuses on key areas most relevant to their role, industry or organisation.
The programme will start this month.
