Ten blasts hit Afghan city of Kandahar

 

Ten explosions including at least six suicide bombings have hit the southern Afghan city of Kandahar on Saturday in a series of attacks on government targets, a provincial spokesman said.

"So far there have been 10 explosions in Kandahar today. We have confirmation that six of the explosions have been suicide attacks," Zalmay Ayubi told AFP.
