Couple in scare as car rolls into the sea

A young couple had a scare last night when the car they were in rolled into the sea near the Black Pearl restaurant in Ta' Xbiex, where it was parked. 

The incident happened at about 2.30 a.m. The two managed to get out of their Nissan Qashqai unhurt.

The police were on the scene. Civil Protection Department divers checked the vehicle to ensure there was no one else in it.
