On May 1, Fr Paul Muscat osa celebrated a concelebrated thanksgiving Mass at St Augustine Convent in Victoria to mark the 40th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. The Very Rev. Father Provincial, E. Borg Bonello, delivered the homily for the occasion.

Fr Muscat hails from Dingli. He joined the Austin Friars and after his novitiate year started his curriculum for the priesthood. He was ordained priest at St Mary of Jesus church, Rabat, on March 17, 1971.

During these 40 years Fr Muscat served the church and the order as Augustine did without leaving religious duties. He spent his life in different monasteries of the Maltese Augustinian Province. He was at La Goulette Parish and at Catania’s Priory as well.

Congratulations and the Lord’s blessing for many years to come in the service of the Lord and the Order.
