The Malta Association of Credit Management is celebrating its 10th anniversary at its annual conference on May 12 at the Radison Blu Resort St Julian’s. The theme of the conference is Management Credit in Today’s Business Environment: Gain Competitive Advantage and Protect Your Cash Flow. The distinguished panel of speakers at the conference includes Lawrence Gonzi, Tonio Fenech, opposition spokesman for economic affairs Karmenu Vella, cardiologist Prof. Albert Fenech and economists Joseph FX Zahra and Gordon Cordina.
“We are proud to have assembled what is probably our finest panel of speakers for a conference ever and which is fitting in celebrating our 10th anniversary. The topics chosen for discussion are crucial for the understanding of proper credit management which is becoming ever more important in today’s business world,” MACM director-general Josef Busuttil said. The conference will focus on several topics including the current economic and financial situation, managing credit in the current economic situation as well as customer relationship in credit management.
Other topics which will be discussed include the importance of granting credit securely and profitably as well as good credit management practices and collections The importance of combating late payment to secure sound cash flow and profit, the managing of the credit function effectively and efficiently as well as managing stress will be discussed at length by the panel of distinguished speakers.
