Europe Day kicks off in Gozo

Europe Day 2011 celebrations kicked off yesterday morning with the fifth edition of the European Parliament Football Festival, held at the Gozo Stadium in Xewkija. The tournament was organised by the European Parliament Valletta Office, the Gozo Football Association and the Malta Sports Council. Cultural activities were also held in St Francis Square, Victoria. Europe Day 2011 events will resume in Valletta on May 9.
