EC English language centres, the Malta-headquartered international tuition group, has appointed True North Human Capital Consulting of London to develop a “centralised, strategic approach to people strategy and talent acquisition”.
The group’s planned global growth will bring significant people challenges: True North has been engaged to deliver a sustainable people strategy with a global and robust HR structure as the final objective.
EC has language centres in Malta, the UK, South Africa, and across the US.
EC said the appointment of True North will ensure the consistency of the HR offering and resource planning when starting operations in a new territory, the ability to drive and empower global staff mobility across the business, and the ability to attract, retain and develop talent in support of growth plans.
True North will create and deliver a resourcing plan and talent attraction strategy which supports EC’s growth plans for the next five years and will define, develop and implement an end-to-end best practice talent acquisition process model for the company.
“We have a clear idea of where we want to be in the next five to 10 years, and to help achieve this, we are going to need people who buy into our purpose and vision and share our core values.
“True North brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, when it comes to talent acquisition,” EC chief executive Michael Xuereb said.
