Michelle, by any chance do you know that in Zabbar there is another residential home for children called St. Joseph's?
The PL does everything to gain electoral points even by using suffering children.

@Maria Vassallo
What's wrong in seeing Mrs Michelle Muscat, wife of the leader of the Opposition Dr Joseph Muscat, carrying out charitable work at this Church Institution for children?
What's wrong in seeing Mrs Kate Gonzi, wife of the Prime Minister Dr Lawrence Gonzi, accompanying her husband on his visits to philanthropic societies?
We should feel elated that they are setting an example of solidarity with our less fortunate brethren by actively participating in such activities, rather than just making presence during pompous ceremonies that a cosy Parliamentary seat and political power are usually associated with!
We stand all to gain by being COLOURBLIND on such auspicious occasions!

R. Gauci, volantary work is carried out everyday by the thousands of our fellow citizenens. The beauty of it is that they do it without any fanfare.

A praiseworthy initiative which all caring Maltese would like to see extended to all localities in Malta and Gozo.
We are elated to learn of this philanthropic exercise in aid of our less fortunate children and would like to suggest that Local Councils ensure that all playing fields in their locality are up to the required standards, secure and in working order!
Some districts run by PL or PN majority councils seem to have renegued their duties when it comes to the upkeep or facelift of these children's playgrounds!
A visit by press reporters from whichever national paper, might throw some more light on the poor state of these few patches of free amusement parks that are left for our children to enjoy away from traffic.
Not wanting to sound all that negative and pessimistic, congratulations must also be extended to Minister George Pullicino for his most welcome projects of two wonderful adventure parks all freely accessible to Malta's children at Ta' Qali and Qui-si-Sana, Sliema!
The Maltese are proud of such achievements and would like to see more of them in the South, in the Mellieha area and in Gozo.
