New traffic arrangements will be in place this weekend for the Malta International Fireworks Festival over Grand Harbour.

Public bus transport will be available from Valletta to all towns and villages until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

After 10 p.m., buses will leave the Valletta terminus on demand until reasonably full and will operate on a circular basis.

The fare after 10 p.m. will be the normal special night Service rate, that is €1.16. Traffic diversions start from 7 p.m. on both days with no access from the direction of Marsa, Xatt l-Għassara and all traffic into Valletta has to pass through St Anne Street, Floriana.

Cars may go down Crucifix Hill and turn right to park or exit. Traffic may enter the Valletta ring road towards Fort St Elmo, but will not be allowed access beyond the Mediterranean Conference Centre.
