The Electoral Commission said today that 51 voting documents which went missing before they were delivered by Maltapost have been replaced by new documents, which were delivered by the police.

The Commission said 21 voting documents were lost before delivery in Paola and 30 in Dingli. They were in two packets sorted by streets.

The voters involved were notified and new voting documents, duly stamped “REPRINT”, were delivered to them.

The original 51 voting documents were invalidated.

Reports have been made to the police on both cases and correspondence is being exchanged with MaltaPost, the commission said.
