A further 13 shareholders in the La Valette Multi-Manager Property Fund have filed a judicial protest against La Valette Fund, Valletta Fund Management, Bank of Valletta and Insight Investment Management, holding them responsible for losses incurred by the property fund.
Anthony Agius, Jane Agius, Anthony Camilleri, Grace Camilleri, Audrey Caruana, Evelyn Caruana, Paul Caruana, Rozzo Caruana, Steve Caruana, John Mary Farrugia, Maria Farrugia, Joseph Micallef and Carmelo Sultana.
The investors said that like another 284 investors who had also filed protests, they were holding VFM, La Valette Funds, BOY and the other companies responsible, through negligence or lack of prudence, for their losses and calling on them to pay damages.
They also called on the Sicav and its directors to safeguard their interests as shareholders and to take all necessary action, including legal action against the persons responsible for the management of the fund
