A book about the youth section of the Labour Party which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year will be launched on Friday.

Iż-Żgħażagħ fil-Partit Laburista documents the history since the establishment of the youth section in the Labour Party, today the Labour Youth Forum.

The volume includes interviews with the leading figures in the Labour Youths Forum. It also features photos dating back to the setting up of the youth section, authentic documents of the interdict as released by the Curia, along with thecorrespondence between the Labour League of Youths and the ecclesiastic authorities.

Iż-Żgħażagħ fil-Partit Laburista, an SKS publication, is on sale at local bookshops from May 2 for €10.
