University of Malta catches Indian students’ attention

Significant interest was shown in the postgraduate courses offered by the University of Malta at an educational fair in India, which attracted more than 2,000 people, the university said.

It took part in The Times Education Boutique Expo 2011, held in Pune on April 16 and 17.

Around 80 national and international universities and educational institutions participated in the fair, where they met prospective students interested in reading a university degree overseas.

Megha Srivastav, representative of the University of Malta at the High Commission in New Delhi, provided information about courses offered at the University.

Those visiting the University’s stand showed significant interest in its postgraduate courses, as the medium of instruction is English, while the courses are run by professionals and academics at a very reasonable fee, the university said.
