New arrangements for foot passengers and cars have been introduced at the Ċirkewwa terminal and will remain in place until the new ferry terminal is completed.

A 450-square-metre shelter for passengers has been put up together with a Gozo Channel information point, bar, toilets, police station and bus terminus, Transport Malta said.

All these facilities are located between the marshalling area and the Comino berth and are only accessible to foot passengers, buses, Transport Malta vehicles, police cars, “disabled” badge holders and vehicles providing a service.

No other vehicle can enter the zone.

An area has also earmarked where vehicles can stop to pick up or drop off passengers making use of the ferry. The parking area for coaches and mini buses shall remain in the current location.

Transport Malta officers will be helping direct passengers and vehicles.
