Les Mills fitness classes now in Malta

From hula-hooping to martial arts, there’s no shortage of new fitness fads to tone yourself to perfection and melt away those pounds, courtesy of Les Mills™.

Les Mills was developed by New Zealander Phillip Mills and is a new concept that hit Malta a few months ago.

All of Les Mills choreography is developed in conjunction with health experts to ensure the moves are safe, and classes are updated every three months so participants remain inspired.

GX-1, the fitness club at Le Meridien, St Julians opened its doors recently and is the first club in Malta to launch these world-renowned group exercise classes.

GX-1 will hold their first quarterly re-launch party in the Pisces Hall on level one at the same hotel on April 30. Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., there will be five 30-minute workouts showcasing the latest and greatest choreography and music from these Les Mills programmes.

This event, sponsored by Nestlé Fitness, is not only celebrating the three-month anniversary for GX-1 and its members, but it is also open to the public.

GX-1 offer classes such as Bodyattack™ (high-energy cardio), Bodybalance™ (Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates), Bodycombat™ (martial arts), Bodyjam™ (dance cardio), Bodypump™ (weight training with barbells).

For the re-launch party timetable, check out www.gx-1.eu for more information or visit www.facebook.com/clubgx1 or http://twitter.com/clubgx1
