Throughout February, March and April, Frank Salt Real Estate participated in three national property exhibitions in Sweden and also organised several private seminars in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo. The latter were attended by a number of managers from Frank Salt Real Estate including George Vassallo, Sliema Branch manager and Nick Bilocca, marketing manager.

The seminars also saw the participation of a number of Swedish legal firms, in particular Deloitte & Touche. Malta’s Chargé d’Affaires for Scandinavia Deborah Attard Montaldo opened the events.

“We greatly believe in the potential of the Swedish market,” said Joseph Lupi, managing director of Frank Salt Real Estate. “With a total attendance of over 10,000 visitors at the exhibitions and circa 200 persons at the seminars, these property fairs have confirmed that Malta’s appeal within the Scandinavian nationals is very positive.

“And with all that Malta has to offer, particularly our climate and natural heritage, our lifestyle and an active and healthy economy, I don’t blame them! Many are also keen to move here permanently, often taking up the ordinary or permanent resident schemes. The latter is currently being reviewed and as such many clients are eager to find out what the new regulations governing this scheme will entail.”

In the first quarter of 2011, Frank Salt Real Estate also participated in exhibitions in London as well as in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg in South Africa. It has also appointed new associates in France, Ukraine, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Bulgaria.
