A 20-year-old man this morning denied in court that he had injured a patron at Gianpula nightclub in an incident early yesterday.

Lidon Cutajar, from Marsascala, denied seriously injuring Omar Borg, 19, and breaching public peace.

He was granted bail against a deposit of €500 and a personal guarantee of €2,500.

Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera also ordered him to stay away from the night club.
