St Benedict College Boys Secondary, Kirkop, recently held its annual prize day celebrations, consisting of a performance by the school band and a play produced by staff and students.

The play was a performance of Il-Ħamba – a script by Joe Camilleri, inspired by George Orwell’s Animal Farm.

It was directed by Keith Scicluna, with a musical score directed by Andrew Pace. After the performance, school head Ray Portelli spoke about the school’s achievements and activities during the past year.

Parliamentary Assistant Franco Debono addressed the audience and distributed prizes to students.
