Finance Malta will be present at the Euro Hedge Summit at the Palais de la Bourse in Paris on May 4 and 5.
Malta’s recent success in attracting hedge fund managers to re-domicile to the island thanks to its regulated, cost-competitive jurisdiction will set the agenda for FinanceMalta to network with its peers.
The public-private partnership tasked with promoting Malta as an international financial services centre of excellence will man a booth with representatives to handle queries on the island’s proposition.
Euro Hedge attracts the industry’s elite from around the world, providing Finance Malta with the opportunity to showcase Malta as the jurisdiction of choice for hedge funds and managers with the existing network of experienced and knowledgable financial services providers.
Held in Paris every spring, Euro Hedge is now in its seventh edition and will be themed ‘Strategies for a new era’.
Organisers are hoping to elicit a discussion on the many issues, challenges and opportunities facing players.
The event will focus on hedge fund strategies and addresses the overall outlook for the industry and financial markets, and examine investment strategies.
Managers and investors have been lined up to speak and join panels. They include Elena Ambrosiadou of IKOS, Lee Robinson of Trafalgar, Fredrik Juntti of Montrica, Tom Sandell of Castlerigg, Tom Sargeant of Tudor, Martin Phipps of Gartmore, Stan Chaudhry of Thames River, Christopher Fawcett of Fauchier Partners, Patrick Fenal of Unigestion, and Sven Liden of Man Investment.
