More than 10 artists have united in a Holy Week exhibition organised by a group of Msida organisations called Msida Flimkien.

Now in its 10th year, the exhibition raises money for a good cause and over the past three years the proceeds have gone towards the cancer charity Puttinu Cares. A sum of €5,000 was donated to the charity last year.

“In this year’s exhibition, apart from a very interesting collection of traditional Good Friday statues, well-known artists are participating with paintings and sculptures that will be sold in aid of charity,” curator and sculptor Ġanni Pace said.

The artists participating include Guido Lanfranco, Anna Galea, Angela Theuma, Vanni Pulè, Joseph Casapinta, Ġanni Pace, Christopher Azzopardi, Martin Borg, Paul Galea, Leslie S. Agius, Alca Ceramics, Edgar Spiteri Staines and Carmelo Apap.

The exhibition is being held at the Msida Labour Party club and runs until April 23 (Easter Saturday). It is open from 5.30 to 8 p.m. on weekdays, 8.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. over the weekend and from 8.30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on April 21 (Maundy Thursday).
