The Studenti Demokristjani Maltin have won yesterday's University Students' Council elections.

Stefan Balzan has been elected president; Mario Cachia, secretary general; Ruth Caruana, financial officer; Luke Buttigieg, education coordinator; and Sara Ellul, culture and entertainment coordinator.

A total of 1,808 votes were case, including 34 invalids.
