Unfinished restoration job at the Xlendi tower

Some time ago, and then yet some more time before that, the Xlendi tower (pictured) received a much-needed restoration.

As one can see, either the project was left unfinished (the blocks of stones left on the place look quite weathered and tired of waiting to be put to better use) or else those in charge thought that, the project over, the environment could take care of itself.

I should think the Gozo Ministry can find a few employees who are not already overburdened with work to return this scenic site to the state it deserves.
