In the article titled ‘G’ Is For Quail, which appeared yesterday, The Times confused the letters associated with the birds which hunting federation members have to report to the FKNK once they shoot a bird.

Hunters have to send an SMS to 5061 6250 with the letter G when they shoot a turtle dove (gamiema) and the letter S when they shoot quail (summiena).

During the spring hunting season that opens today, there are 5,610 hunters licensed to shoot 2,500 quails and 9,000 turtle doves.

The error is regretted.
