Renzo Piano's controversial London landmark takes shape

A new skyscraper is rapidly transforming the London skyline. At over 300 metres, once completed The Shard will be the European Union's tallest building. But the project has also reignited a debate over whether tall buildings are appropriate for the ancient British capital. The building has been designed by Renzo Piano.

Nixtieq infakkar lis-Sur Gatt li l-Louvre mhux Piano kien ghamlu u li l-maggoranza tal-poplu Franciz meta jkun il-waqt.... lesti li jnizzlu dik il-fabbrika f'nofs Parigi li Mitterran ma Piano kienu holqu u giet msemmija bhala Centru Pompidou!!! Ma hafna Francizi dan il-progett hu maghruf bhala l-misthijja u l-mostru ta' Parigi!!!
