A group of Maltese musicians will be recording a song in aid of the victims of the Japanese tsunami and earthquakes.
The musicians will record the Maltese version of a song penned by songwriter David Mindel, entitled Life Goes On. The song will then be available for download internationally.
The song is also being recorded worldwide, with different countries each releasing their own version of the song.
Former Bond girl and Red Cross ambassador Jane Seymour has also endorsed the initiative, leading to it being discussed on international social media.
The Maltese version of the song will be mixed for free by UK sound engineer Dan Pursey, who has worked with such artists as Westlife, Mariah Carey and Susan Boyle.
A Facebook page has just been setup under the name ‘Sounds United Malta’ and the Red Cross are launching a page on their website which will be operational shortly at www.redcross.org.mt/appeal.
