Darren Debono, who stands accused of involvement in the failed HSBC headquarters heist and the hold-up on a jeweller in Attard last year, was this morning jailed for six months after being found guilty of breaching bail conditions.
He had been allowed out on bail following his arraignment in connection with the HSBC hold-up.
However he has been behind bars since December after he was shot and injured during the attempted hold-up on jeweller Michael Mizzi on December 3.
The prosecution had argued that in terms of the bail conditions, he should have been at home when the hold-up took place.
