Sitecom has launched the new WL-405 wireless internet security camera 150N, which can easily be connected to a wireless network to make it possible to remotely monitor different rooms in the home or at the office. Optimal security is offered thanks to the motion detector and zoom function.

The Netherlands-based company said this is ideal for wirelessly monitoring various rooms in the home (such as a nursery) or at the office (the reception or a warehouse). By wirelessly connecting the internet camera to a network, the user can view the live images on any desktop PC or notebook via the internet or an intranet. The WL-405 offers a wireless speed of up to 150 Mbps and, thanks to its large wireless range, the internet Camera does not have to be situated close to the router, which offers optimal flexibility.

Since the camera supports the MPEG4 and MJPEG formats, clear audio and smooth video images without interruptions are guaranteed, the company said. The camera also has a motion detector: if any movement or activity is detected, then the camera automatically sends a message via e-mail. The e-mail can be opened on a computer or, if the user is not at home, on a smartphone.
