Man jailed for theft, woman gets suspended sentence
A man and a woman this morning pleaded guilty to stealing €3,000 worth of gold jewellery from a residence in Qormi.
Christian Bugeja, 36, of Birkirkara also pleaded guilty to being a relapser.
Mr Bugeja, who was charged by Police Inspector Sandra Zammit, was jailed for a year while Donna Marie Stone, 18, of Cospicua, was jailed for one year suspended for two.

Man who stole over 600 Euro from people withdrawing cash from ATM's got 5 years prison.
Man, relapser, who stole 3000 Euro worth of gold from a residence gets 1 year. Baffling, but then I have got no legal training.
