French sailors win Barcelona World Race

Frenchmen Jean-Pierre Dick (right) and Loick Peyron yesterday won the Barcelona World Race, a non-stop, west-to-east round-the-world yacht race. Starting and finishing in Barcelona on board the Virbac-Paprec boat, Dick and Peyron completed the race that follows the ‘clipper route’ traditionally sailed by clipper ships between Europe and the Far East, in 93 days 22 hours 20.36 minutes.
