Tancred Tabone has been elected president of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry.

Mr Tabone, who had led the Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise through its merger with the FOI, thanked outgoing president Helga Ellul for her contribution and his fellow council members for their confidence and support.

Presently the managing director of the Forestals Group of Companies, Mr Tabone has served as director of the Malta Trade Fair Corporation and the Water Services Corporation and chairman of the Malta Trade Fair Corporation, the Water Services Corporation, Mediterranean Offshore Bunkering Company Ltd, and Enemalta Corporation.
