Health Minister Joseph Cassar said all patients admitted to Mater Dei Hospital had always been allotted a bed.

Answering a question by Michael Farrugia (PL), Dr Cassar said there might be delays for accommodating patients to their bed until others were dismissed. Patients were always given a bed, irrespective of the circumstances.
