An Indian dancer specialised in the art of traditional Bharata natyam dance will be giving a workshop this month.

Ruta Kambli will give workshops to dancers who want to learn authentic Indian dance.

Bharata natyam dance is more than a dance, since it involves postures of ritual poses and is considered as one of the dances practised by the deities in Hindu culture and religion. In traditional Hindu culture this dance is performed by women, however the workshop is open to men too. There will be workshops for adults andchildren.
