Is It Me? at St James
TAC Theatre’s Passion play production, Is It Me?, shows why the protagonists of the Easter story made the choices they did, resulting in events that changed the course of history.
Set in today’s Middle East, the play looks at how two men, Pontius Pilate and Caiaphas, who want nothing more than the best for their people, set down a path leading to the crucifixion of a ‘terrorist’, who is causing a popular uprising.
This ‘terrorist’ offers the people the hope of freedom; he is a new leader who came to take away their fear with just three words – “love your enemy”.
The cast features Steffan Cherrett Busuttil, Pierre Stafrace, Alexandra Camilleri Warne, Claudio Carta, David Chircop, Joseph Zammit, Steve Hili, Nadia Vella, Rachel Gatt, Victor Bonanno, Hannah Schembri, Stephanie Pullicino and Wesley Ellul.
Is It Me? is at St James Cavalier, Valletta, on April 15, 16 and 17.
Tickets at €10 are available on www.tactheatre.com and at the box office. For more information call 9945 6366 or e-mail info@tactheatre.com.
