Etienne Bonello of the Greens Cycling Club won the second edition of the Gozo Classic Road Race held recently in Ta’ Xħajma Road, Nadur.

The race, organised by the Greens Cycling Club, was contested by five clubs, including the Team Greens, Melita, Mosta and Qormi Cycling Clubs and Birkirkara St Joseph.

The 6.4 kilometre-circuit consisted of a one kilometre-climb and a winding downhill, together with flat sections.

The race was made possible with the help of Nadur council and Maltese Sport Council co-ordinator for Gozo Joe Bajada, who also presented the trophies.
