Deloitte, together with other leading organisations, joined forces in financial support and a day of voluntary work by their staff members to help charitable causes on Corporate Social Responsibility Day celebrated recently.

Deloitte, Alf. Mizzi & Sons Group, Gasan Group of Companies, HSBC + Knights of Malta + JCI, Enemalta, MSV Life Insurance, Malta Enterprise, Simonds Farsons Cisk, Tumas Group, and Watson Arrow Pharm carried out maintenance of homes accommodating disadvantaged children and adults in difficult circumstances. Deloitte staff members carried out works for Dar Qalb ta’ Gesu – a second stage domestic violence shelter.

Catherine Gonzi, the Prime Minister’s wife, who chairs the HSBC Cares for Children Fund, visited the different homes. Archbishop Paul Cremona and acting President Anton Tabone also supported this initiative.
