Jailed 20 years for attempted murder
Ronnie Azzopardi was this morning jailed for 20 years after he was on Saturday found guilty by a jury of the attempted murder of Jonathan Spiteri.
Mr Azzopardi shot Mr Spiteri shot five times in Marsascala in 2003, hitting him once in the shoulder.
The shooting was motivated by the murder of Jason Azzopardi, the brother of the accused, by Melchior Spiteri, the victim's brother. Melchior Spiteri is serving a 30-year prison term.

Good riddance. I like when our "justice system" shows some teeth with well known people.
