Woman to be charged with trafficking cocaine
A 30-year-old Maltese woman is expected to be charged with cocaine trafficking in the coming days following a cocaine and cannabis find.
The police said that they had been observing an apartment in Msida, where they suspected drugs were being trafficked.
A search of the apartment, where the woman lived, led them to several cocaine packages ready to be sold well hidden in a chair’s legs. Cannabis leaves were also found.
Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit is holding an inquiry.
