A young boy, in a traditional costume, helped set the scene at the Wignacourt Tower festival in St Paul’s Bay yesterday. Activities included a Maltese wedding re-enactment and traditional Maltese music to mark the anniversary of the tower, built by Grandmaster Wignacourt in 1610 to guard against seaward attacks.
