The University’s European Documentation and Research Centre (EDRC) recently welcomed Elijah Waterman, the US embassy’s Public Affairs Officer, to the centre.
The US embassy signed a grant agreement with the EDRC to part-fund the visit of the research students to the US in April.
Four EDRC students will be participating in this event, the State University of New York’s annual Model EU, a simulation exercise which sees students from across Europe and the US undertake the challenge of representing an EU state in a mock Council of the EU session.
EDRC Director Roderick Pace thanked Mr Waterman and discussed future avenues of cooperation between the centre and the US embassy.
The four EDRC students who will be participating in the event are Julia Pisani, Petra Galea Debono, Laura Muscat and Pavel Jokovlev.
