NSTF will be holding its annual Science Week at Villa Bighi, Kalkara, from next Sunday to April 10.

Over the past year, NSTF has developed a science programme in collaboration with the Malta Chamber of Scientists and the Malta Council of Science and Technology, with the aim of encouraging more students to study science and technology.

Mcast, Junior College andSt Aloysius Sixth Form students who will be participating in the National Contest for Young Scientists, as well as students from state, Church and independent secondary schools participating in the School Contest for Young Scientists, will be exhibitingtheir scientific and technological projects.

Various interactive workshops are being organised by Mcast Institute of Art and Designstudents as part of the LittleScientists Village.

The Maltese Medical Student Association will also be running interactive seminars to raise the awareness of teenagers on the risks of substance abuse.

Smart Light Systems will be giving a presentation about the future of energy-saving lighting and its contributions to this field.

The public is invited to visit Science Week on April 9 from 3 to 6 p.m.
