Kirill Micallef Stafrace recently visited Dhaka, the capital of Bang-ladesh, as a guest of the country’s Institute of Sports Science.

Invited in his capacity as president of the Maltese Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine (MASEM), Dr Micallef Stafrace delivered a series of talks on diverse sports and exercise medicine topics during his stay.

His lectures in Dhaka focused mainly on cricket injuries, exercise prescription, overuse in-juries, pre-participation medical evaluation of athletes and sports nutrition.

For this academic programme, Dr Micallef Stafrace was joined by a number of fellow volunteers from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
