‘Loving’ cups

A limited edition of 1,000 Loving Cups have been produced at a pottery in Staffordshire, bearing the entwined initials C and W to stand for Prince William and Kate – or Catherine – Middleton, in gold and silver. Each was made with several layers of burnished gold and platinum before a final layer of gilding was applied by hand in 22-carat gold.
