St James Hospital to open SmartCity healthcare centre

The Saint James Hospital Group is to open a healthcare centre at SmartCity Malta.

This centre will feature a range of medical services including a dental clinic, an Immediate Medical Care Unit and Cosmetic Services. The healthcare centre will also include resuscitation and treatment rooms and other ancillary services.

SmartCity said the clinic will be in a position to provide a comprehensive range of healthcare services. The services will be available to the SmartCity workers, residents and to the community of the surrounding area. Being so close to Saint James Hospital of Zabbar is also an added advantage in cases of emergency or complicated incidents, SmartCity said.

Josie Muscat, founder and chairman of the Saint James Hospital Group said the hospital’s vision had always been to be a centre of excellence in the healthcare sector and this revolved around four fundamental principles, namely, patients, professional staff, leading consultants and technology.

"Locating our new healthcare centre in SmartCity Malta helps us to better serve the business partners while supporting the medical requirements of the surrounding residential community”.
