Potholes repaired and reappearing

Believe it or not this picture was taken today in EB Vella Street corner with Sgħajtar Road, Mosta.

The 30cm ruler in the picture gives one an idea of the size of the potholes.

The situation has been like this for the past 16 years.

The amount of funds that are wasted each year trying to make repairs over and over again by amateurly filling up the holes with a mixture of hard rocks and tar is incredible!

Despite several promises over the years and despite the fact that the residents of both streets involved have voiced their complaints, even by a signed petition, we are still living in a street that resembles the moon’s surface more than Earth!
